What's the difference between a Nitro Trial and full Nitro?
A Discord Nitro Trial and full Discord Nitro are both delivered the same way at SlayKeys: as an official discord.gift link that you open on your own account and accept yourself — no password, no login code, and nobody touches your account. The difference is what the link contains. A Trial is a promotional month of full Nitro that Discord makes available to accounts that are new to Nitro: it costs a fraction of the regular price, it excludes the two server boosts, and it can only be claimed by an eligible account. Full Nitro is the regular subscription bought as a gift: it works on any account, includes the two boosts and the 30% boost discount, stacks as Nitro credit if you already have Nitro, and comes in 1-month or 1-year terms. Who is eligible for a Discord Nitro Trial?
Anyone whose Discord account is old enough and has never had a paid Nitro subscription is eligible — the conditions are set by Discord, not by us. Your account must be older than one month, and it must not have had a Nitro subscription in the past year — ideally an account that has never had Nitro at all. If your account had Nitro recently, the trial simply won't apply, so pick full Nitro instead. There is no ban risk either way; an ineligible account just can't redeem the trial.
How to check before buying: open User Settings → Nitro on the account. If it shows no subscription history and the account is older than a month, a trial link will almost certainly apply; if it lists a past Nitro or Nitro Basic period within the last year, buy full Nitro instead. Discord decides eligibility at the moment the link is opened, and an ineligible account is simply told the offer is not available — the link is not consumed, so tell us in the chat and we swap it.
Why does Discord charge $1 to activate the trial?
To start a Nitro Trial, Discord asks you to link a payment card to your account. On activation Discord charges $1 and refunds it right away — it's only a card-validation charge, not a real payment. Once the trial is active, we recommend cancelling the subscription immediately in Discord's settings. Cancelling does not end your trial early; it just stops Discord from auto-charging you when the trial period runs out. You keep all the perks until the last day.
How do you keep Nitro cheaply after the trial ends?
When your trial ends, you don't have to pay Discord's full price to keep Nitro. You can buy full Discord Nitro from SlayKeys, which is cheaper than the official rate and works on any account with no risk. Many people run a 3-month trial first, then switch to buying full Nitro month by month through the bot. Payment in the bot is by card or crypto, and delivery is fast.

- Check your account: if it's over a month old and hasn't had Nitro in the past year, you can use a Trial. Otherwise choose full Nitro.
- Open the SlayKeys Telegram bot @slaykeys_bot and pick Discord Nitro Trial (1 or 3 months) or full Discord Nitro.
- For the Trial: receive your gift link, open it in Discord, and link a card. Discord charges $1 and refunds it to validate the card.
- Right after activation, go to Discord Settings → Subscriptions and cancel — you keep the trial to the end, but avoid the auto-renewal charge.
- For full Nitro: send what's needed in the bot chat; the operator applies Nitro to your account. No trial conditions apply.
- When a trial ends, buy full Nitro through the bot to keep your perks at a lower-than-official price.
