How much do V-Bucks cost in 2026?

A regular Item Shop outfit costs 800–2,000 V-Bucks, emotes and pickaxes less, bundles more. So a single 1,500 V-Bucks skin means buying a 2,800 pack and keeping the remainder, and bigger packs only get cheaper per V-Buck if you commit more money up front.
Which cheap V-Bucks offers should you avoid?
Most 'cheap V-Bucks' deals put your account at risk:
- Free V-Bucks generators don't exist. Sites and videos that promise them are phishing for your Epic login.
- Sellers who need your password log in to buy for you. Epic treats shared accounts and suspicious logins as a violation, and you lose control of the account while they have it.
- Cheap accounts full of skins are often stolen or chargebacked and get pulled back or banned.
- Grey-market codes and refunds tricks can be reversed after purchase, taking the V-Bucks and items with them.
The safe rule: nobody but you ever logs in to your Epic account.
How do you get Item Shop skins cheaper as a gift?
The SlayKeys Fortnite Shop uses Fortnite's own gifting. You top up a V-Bucks balance in our Telegram Mini App — from $0.38 per 100 V-Bucks, so 1,000 costs about $3.80 instead of $8.99 — paying by card, crypto or Telegram Stars (minimum 500 V-Bucks, step 100). You give only your Epic display name, and our gifter accounts send you a friend request in Fortnite.
Epic lets friends gift each other after 48 hours, so the first order waits out that timer; after it, gifts go out within minutes. You pick any item from today's Item Shop, it's paid from your balance and a gifter sends it to your Locker → Gifts. The balance stays in our shop until you spend it, and if a gift fails, the V-Bucks come back to it.
What should you know before buying?
The V-Bucks you top up stay on your SlayKeys shop balance — they are not added to your Epic wallet, because Epic doesn't allow gifting V-Bucks; you receive items. The Item Shop rotates daily at 00:00 UTC, so an item you want has to be in today's shop. Each gifter account has a limit per gift and a daily gift limit, so very expensive bundles can be locked — several cheaper items work instead.
