A Splice Sounds plan is a monthly allowance of credits that you spend on individual samples, loops, presets and MIDI from the catalogue — a one-shot typically costs one credit, longer loops a few. Credits you do not use roll over for as long as the subscription is active, so a quiet month is not wasted. Every download is royalty-free and licensed to you permanently: samples you pulled during the term stay yours in your DAW after the plan ends, and Splice keeps your library and purchase history on the account. The desktop app also handles previewing in key and tempo, and the Splice Bridge plugin lets you audition sounds inside the DAW before spending a credit.
The plan is applied to your own Splice account, so your existing library, credits history, saved packs and Splice-hosted projects are untouched; you simply see the new credit balance and term in Account settings. Nothing about the login changes and no password is shared. It is a fixed term rather than a card-on-file subscription — when it ends, the plan stops and any remaining rollover credits are handled by Splice's normal rules; ordering another term continues it.
